We have a strong culture of collaboration and support within the tech community, as well as a good ecosystem of investors, mentors, incubators and accelerators. We also have a reputation for being agile, adaptable and resilient, which has helped us navigate the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Q: What are some of the opportunities and challenges facing the tech sector in New Zealand
A: I think one of the biggest opportunities for the tech sector in New Zealand is to leverage our unique strengths and advantages, such as our creativity, ingenuity, quality of life and proximity to Asia-Pacific markets. We have a lot of potential to grow our tech exports and contribute to the economic recovery and transformation of the country. We also have an opportunity to use tech as a force for good and address some of the social and environmental issues that we face as a nation and as a global community.
